KEEP YOUR RHYTHM.

Stay in your workout.
Let your wrist keep time.

Your go-to timer stays close at hand, with remembered durations, three favorites, and Start set whenever you begin exercising again. When the countdown reaches zero, “Ready when you are” keeps your rest open. Start your workout and finish with a wrap-up: a rest/exercise donut, a rest timeline, 10-minute rest averages, and trends across your saved workouts. These work without Apple Health. Add an optional rest-to-exercise target to compare with your own workout rhythm.

Choose Apple Health when you want available heart-rate readings and genuine strength-workout recording. Add a personal target for optional Smart rest cues after a minimum rest, with a timed maximum. The next set is always your choice.

One upfront purchase. No subscription. Local prices and availability will be shown on the App Store at launch.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few details.

Can I download RestTap yet?

RestTap has been submitted to App Store review. It is not available to download yet. We’ll add the download link here after approval and release.

Do I need an iPhone app or an account?

RestTap is built as a watch-only app. The timer works offline, without a RestTap account or a user-facing iPhone companion.

Will the end-of-rest alert always get through?

Alerts follow Apple Watch notification, Focus, sound, and haptic settings. Device state can affect delivery. RestTap includes a test alert and setup help; it does not bypass Focus or promise an alert in every situation.

What about workout stats and heart rate?

Every session starts with Start workout. End workout opens a wrap-up with a rest/exercise donut and View summary as the main action. The breakdown includes a rest timeline, 10-minute rest averages, planned-versus-logged rests, local history and trends. You can set an optional rest-to-exercise target in Workout options. Exercise time is estimated from time outside logged rests; it includes any unlogged pauses. Ratios and each workout’s chosen target appear in Trends. These features work without Apple Health. Apple Health is optional. When enabled, explicitly starting a RestTap workout records a strength workout and shows available heart-rate readings. This can replace another active watch workout; leave recording off to use the timer alongside Apple’s Workout app. Start set ends your logged rest, including after zero; it also stops reminders. Optional reminders nudge once a minute for up to ten minutes, subject to your watch settings. You can shorten a missed-tap rest in the saved summary. Personal-target cues are advisory and have a timed fallback. The website demo uses simulated data; physical-watch validation is still pending.

What do the watch-face complications do?

They open RestTap. Once the app is open, tap Start rest. They don’t show a live countdown or start a rest automatically.
