1. Who operates RestTap

This website is operated by Devon Allary, operating as RestTap. These terms govern resttap.com and its product information and browser preview. They do not replace Apple’s App Store terms or the applicable app licence.

2. A product awaiting release

RestTap has been submitted to App Store review and is not yet available to download. Website previews illustrate the planned interface and workflow; they are not photographs or screenshots proving a released product. Features, compatibility, timing, and availability may change before release. No purchase is taken through this website.

The browser timer is an interactive illustration. It uses simulated heart-rate and workout data, does not access your health data, and does not send sound, haptics, or notifications. It is not the Apple Watch app. Do not rely on it for safety-critical timing.

3. App availability and purchases

When available, the App Store listing and checkout will show supported devices, the current version, price, taxes, and purchase conditions. The current plan is one upfront purchase without a RestTap subscription. No launch date or current price is promised here.

Apple processes App Store purchases. Refunds and purchase questions can be directed through Apple’s purchase support, subject to Apple’s terms and any mandatory rights that apply to you. These website terms do not remove statutory consumer rights.

Unless a separate custom licence is expressly provided with the released app, the app will use Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These website terms do not expand that licence or add a separate subscription agreement.

4. Timing and alert limitations

RestTap is a convenience timer for the space between exercise sets. It includes optional workout summaries and Apple Health heart-rate displays. It does not provide medical advice, clinical monitoring, emergency alarms, or a validated muscle-recovery assessment. Choose exercise and rest durations appropriate for your circumstances. Personal heart-rate targets and settled-rest statistics are descriptive, advisory features; a lower heart rate does not certify readiness for another set. Readings can be missing or delayed, and an explicitly started HealthKit workout may replace another app’s workout on the same watch.

Completion notifications depend on Apple Watch permissions, Focus, sound/haptic settings, power, lock/wrist state, and other system conditions. Exact delivery or an alert in every situation is not promised. A deliberate system-clock change can change the displayed remaining time. Test your notification setup and use the app’s help where needed.

5. Use of the website

You may read and use the website and its interactive preview for their intended personal purposes. You must not introduce harmful code, interfere with operation, bypass access controls, access another person’s information without permission, or use the site unlawfully. We may reasonably limit access when needed to protect the site or comply with law.

6. Content and branding

Original website text, design, branding, and graphics belong to Devon Allary or are used under applicable permissions. Your use of the website does not transfer ownership of that content. Contact us before reusing it commercially. Apple and Apple Watch are trademarks of Apple Inc.; RestTap is independently developed and is not sponsored or endorsed by Apple.

7. Privacy and external services

Our privacy policy explains the watch app’s local storage, website infrastructure, and support email. This website may link to Apple, service providers, and regulators. Their services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we do not control external content.

8. Availability and your legal rights

We aim to keep product information accurate and the website useful, but errors, maintenance, and interruptions can occur. Contact us about an error or accessibility problem. Nothing in these terms excludes any warranty, remedy, liability, or consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.

These website terms are governed by Quebec law and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory laws, protections, and rights to bring claims in another jurisdiction that apply to you. The applicable app licence and Apple’s purchase terms govern their own subjects.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these website terms as the product and website change. The updated effective date will be shown here. Where a change requires additional notice or agreement under applicable law, we will provide it. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.
